The mission, vision, and values statements of Mississippi College must be fully understood and supported by each employee. By understanding the mission, vision, and values of Mississippi College, prospective employees should be able to determine their compatibility within this work environment. Support of the mission, vision, and values of Mississippi College and adherence to the employee contract or letter of employment and the appropriate handbook policies are conditions of continued employment. All vacant and new positions for both faculty and staff require the approval of the area Vice President and President prior to initiating any procedure for filling the position. All employees are hired subject to the approval of the Board of Trustees.
